Hotel Information

The Greensboro-High Point Marriott Airport Hotel is central to Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem, the hotel is set on the grounds of the Piedmont Triad International Airport. The hotel is strategically positioned at the hub of the dynamic Piedmont Triad region, situated between the cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point where Interstate 40 and Interstate 85 converge.

Seventeen lushly landscaped acres include a small lake and beautiful grounds - a welcome change of pace from most airport hotels. A scenic walkway leads from the hotel to a cobblestone bridge with footpaths on both sides of the drive. The hotel offers 24-hour shuttle service to the airport and free on-property parking to hotel guests.

The hotel features an indoor/outdoor pool, a whirlpool, and a complete fitness center. There is one restaurant and one bar onsite. JW's Steakhouse offers breakfast, lunch and dinner while Pitchers Bar & Grill offers lunch and dinner. There are many nearby restaurants, including McDonald's, Ruby Tuesday, and Applebee's

ROOMS

The hotel is six floors and has 296 rooms, of which 131 are "Rooms that Work" that are designed for business travelers. A total of three spacious and well-appointed suites are available, and the Presidential Suite with attached bedroom has been secured for the Hospitality Suite and for the Commander, STARFLEET.

Concierge Level rooms provide upgraded amenities and access to the Concierge Lounge. The Concierge Lounge serves continental breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres, and all-day beverages. High-speed internet access and unlimited long distance and local calls are available with the "Wired for Work" package ($9.95 daily). Abundant light and lovely views of the grounds are available from many guest rooms. A great night's sleep is assured on Marriott's luxurious new bedding package.

We have been offered a flat rate of $95 per night, with single-room capacity capped at five individuals. We will have a customized special reservations web page where attendees can reserve their room online at the conference rate.

BANQUET

The hotel is offering us a plated dinner with salad, chicken entree, two vegetables, dessert, coffee, and beverage. Special requests (vegetarian, low-salt, etc.) can be accommodated. The banquet price will be $35.

CONFERENCE SPACE

The hotel has 14 meeting rooms with a total of 9,850 square feet of meeting space. The Grand Ballroom can be configured to 6,150 square feet to hold 800 people or six smaller and two larger rooms. Wireless and wired internet is available in all of the meeting rooms. The hotel has a separate convention registration room that can be secured in the evening. There is also a connected outdoor patio for smokers to take a break between panels and a lakeside pavilion with a grill for outdoor gatherings.

The hotel has a full business center on-site, as well as audio/video conference capability.
